Blood Donors Can Send Thanks To Veterans

November 10, 2016 – The public is invited to LifeShare Blood Centers for its annual Veterans Day Blood Drive on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12.

Those giving blood at a LifeShare center during regular hours on Friday or Saturday may add a personal note of thanks to a card that indicates they gave blood in honor of someone who has served our country and LifeShare will have it delivered.

“Blood donors care about their country and community. They also help keep our country strong by contributing to the blood supply. Coinciding with Veterans Day, we are giving them an opportunity to write their own message while letting a Veteran know someone gave back in their honor,” says Tina Hooper, spokesperson for LifeShare Blood Centers.
