LifeShare Blood Centers will hold United We Give, United We Live blood drives on Sept. 11 and 12, for donors giving in memory of those who perished in the 9/11 tragedy and in honor of first responders.
“As we remember the tragedy and the heroes of 9/11, we are also reminded of the unity that keeps our nation strong every day. We also see that unity right here at home, and giving blood is an example of it. This life-saving resource is only made possible by volunteer blood donors, committing to save the lives of people around them. We are proud to host United We Give, United We Live to highlight the commitment of the people taking care of each other right here in our community,” says Tina Hooper, Director of Public Relations and Communications for LifeShare Blood Centers.
