Justen Yerger

It was opening day of dove season in 1997 when 19 year old Justen Yerger leaned his shotgun against the bumper of his truck. The gun slid, fired and hit Justen in the leg piercing his femoral artery. Bleeding profusely, Justen managed to get to the cab of his truck and duct tape his injured leg. Triplets' Journey with Sickle Cell Anemia

Triplets Raeleia, Raeginelle and Raelennia all deal with sickle cell anemia; Raeginelle and Raelennia both have the disease while their sister Raeleia has sickle cell trait. From six-months to 18 years old, Raeginelle and Raelennia each have received a transfusion every month. Robert's Story

In 2003, Robert went to visit his first grandson at two weeks old. During that time, he suddenly passed out and was determined to be hemorrhaging from an esophageal tear. Fortunately, the blood was there when he needed it. Joshua's Story

Dylan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia approximately one year ago resulting in intense treatment that includes blood products.
