Summer months are some of the most challenging times for maintaining the blood supply. Vacations ☀️, school breaks 🏖️, and busy schedules often lead to a significant drop in donations — but hospital patients still need blood every single day.

Just one donation can help trauma patients, cancer patients, premature babies, and others facing medical emergencies. When our community comes together, lives are changed.

 ⏰ Extended Hours to Make Giving Easy

To make donating as convenient as possible, participating LifeShare donor centers will offer extended hours during United We Give, July 1-3.

Hours:

• Wednesday, July 1: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Thursday, July 2: 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday, July 3: 8:00am-6:00pm

In addition to our donor centers, dozens of mobile blood drives will be held throughout the region, making it easy to find a convenient donation location.

 Please Note:

• The Bossier Donor Center will be closed July 1 & 2 so staff can support donors at the Shreveport Donor Center.
• The Baton Rouge Donor Center is excluded from this promotion and will maintain regular operating hours.
