LifeShare Informational SMS Program

LifeShare Blood Center (“LifeShare”) offers an optional SMS/text messaging program for informational communications related to blood donation.

By selecting YES to receive SMS messages, you agree to receive recurring informational text messages from LifeShare Blood Center, its affiliated divisions, and service providers texting on LifeShare’s behalf at the mobile number you provided.

Messages may include:

• Your estimated next donation date, subject to screening and applicable eligibility requirements;
• Blood donation appointment information and reminders;
• Verified blood needs;
• Information about nearby blood drives; and
• Other informational communications related to your blood donation.

These messages are informational and donation-related. They are not promotional or marketing messages.

Message Frequency

You may receive no more than three messages per week.

Message frequency may vary within that maximum based on your appointments, donation eligibility, blood needs, blood drives, and other applicable donation-related circumstances.

Opting Out

You may opt out of LifeShare informational SMS messages at any time by replying: STOP

After you send STOP, you will receive confirmation that you have been unsubscribed from the LifeShare SMS program, subject to any messages already in process.

Consent Is Optional

Your consent to receive SMS messages is optional. You may choose NO and still register to donate blood and receive donor services from LifeShare.

Providing or withholding SMS consent does not affect your ability to donate blood.

Privacy

LifeShare may use third-party service providers to transmit and administer SMS messages on its behalf.

LifeShare does not sell, share, or provide your mobile telephone number or SMS consent information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
